Our Story
Maci•Roo brings craft and community back to the heart of Main Street in Canandaigua. We are preparing to open our doors this year with the hope of giving more people the chance to work with their hands and experience the quiet satisfaction of making something their own.
The studio is designed to feel steady and open. It will be a place for all skill levels, whether you are brand new to clay or have been working at it for years. Here, making is about presence rather than perfection.
We invite you to create, gather, shop, or simply spend time in the space. However you arrive, we hope you feel at home.
THE SPACE
-
Thoughtfully curated craft gallery with one of a kind, handcrafted work. Distinct and hard to find.
-
Working pottery studio for wheel and hand building, with a gallery window to watch pieces in the making.
-
Back classroom, patio, and rooftop for workshops, visiting artists, and community events, bringing people together and connecting to Main Street.
-
Connected to our ground level patio for gatherings, workshops, and seasonal community events. A rooftop patio offering a serene retreat for guests and visiting artists.
-
Two thoughtfully designed stays on second and third floors, curated for those coming to our studio or visiting the area.
